St. Stephen's De La Salle

On April 27th, 2004, 1,950 primary school children from 27 schools in Waterford City and County set a new world record in the People’s Park. Our two 3rd Classes were part of a massive ring that spanned the perimeter of the park. The new world record was supervised by representatives of the Guinness Book of Records. This record was performed to highlight the work of Cradle, which brings aid to Albania.

All the boys from Mrs. Musgrave’s and Mrs. Roche’s classes enjoyed being part of the world record team. They sang and performed the playground rhyme for six and a half minutes. Pictured below are some of the boys during the world record attempt!
