Mr. Russell’s 5th Class enjoyed a Skype with Sarah on the island of Alderney to mark Remembrance Day on November 11th, 2016.

Sarah took the boys around the coast of the island, inside and around trenches that German soldiers had made and used during World War II. The class also got to virtually go inside some of the bunkers. It was so fascinating to see where the soldiers had worked and where they lived during the War. The boys were very grateful to Sarah for joining them, taking their questions, and showing them around the bunkers on the island of Alderney.
