Diwali is the Hindu Festival of Lights. The name comes from the original Sanskrit word dipavali, which means a row of lights. If somewhere is celebrating Diwali, you will usually see houses, shops and other places decorated with small oil lamps known as diyas. In St. Stephen’s, the Pre-School celebrated Diwali on November 7th. Check out a few photos below:
