Plastic Free Waterford Week ran from September 10th to 16th in our city, and the Waterford One World Centre in association with Waterford City Council ran a workshop in the city’s Central Library in Lady Lane to help the boys to learn more about recycling, plastic waste, and what schools can do to further the message to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Mr. Russell’s 5th Class took part in the workshop on Friday, September 14th. The boys had lots of questions for Sarah! At the end of the workshop, the boys conducted an interview with Sarah for the class radio station, as a summary of all the things that they had learned.
