Mr. Russell’s 5th Class completed a unit of work to remember the terrible events of September 11, 2001 in the USA, when the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre were destroyed in an awful attack. Through reading, writing and art, the boys marked the anniversary of the tragedy. They saw actual news bulletins broadcast on TV from the day, read about what happened, and saw the front pages of newspapers as they told the world about the horrific news.
