Miss McGovern’s Senior Infants became Junior Scientists for Science Week! The boys made volcanoes and did a small experiment to see what happens when a volcano erupts. The class also made slime – and enjoyed how messy that was!! They saw how washing up liquid binds with fat in milk in another experiment,and the boys learned that oil & water don’t mix. They added water to lots of liquids and discovered which ones made suds and which ones didn’t.
And the boys also learned that kitchen roll paper is very absorbent and they watched food colouring travel up the kitchen roll.
