St. Stephen's De La Salle

5th Class were learning about the night sky and constellations as part of Space Week 2018! The boys used compasses to make holes in paper, after marking out the star patterns. They used a torch, which didn’t really project the stars properly, so they tried again with a mobile phone – and had much better results! Some of the constellations that the boys looked at were Cygnus, Cassopeia, Leo and Big Dipper. Check out some photos in the gallery below of the boys projecting the constellations:
