Mr. Russell’s 5th Class were celebrating Space Week Ireland 2018, part of World Space Week. The boys were joined on Skype by Karen O’Flaherty, who works with the ESA (European Space Agency). The call was superb, as the boys learned about each of the planets, the work of the ESA, and what the future might hold. There was then time for a Q&A with Karen, and there were some excellent questions from the class. A huge word of thanks to Karen O’Flaherty for giving an hour of her time to the boys in 5th Class, and for taking so many questions!
