Miss Power’s 3rd Class enjoyed their first school tour since they were in Senior Infants when they visited The Irish National Heritage Park in Wexford on Friday, June 10th, 2022.
The boys enjoyed a tour of the park, travelling through thousands of years of Irish history from hunter gatherers to the building of crannógs, the Vikings, the creation of Rath forts and the use of a Fulacht Fiadh. The boys also got to strike a coin as it was done hundreds of years ago, with no two coins being the same as everyone struck the coin in a slightly different way. Everyone got to bring their coin home too!
It was a super day out for the boys and we have a huge gallery of photos from the 3rd Class tour to Wexford in the gallery below. Scroll through the huge selection of photos and see how much fun the boys had on their school tour!
