Mr. Russell’s 3rd Class visited Spike Island in Cork Harbour for their 2024 school tour! The boys went to visit the island in Cobh, and had an early start – leaving at 8:00am on Wednesday, May 29th – and not returning home until 5:30pm! The boys had a super time – enjoying a lovely ferry trip out to the island and a quiz trail and orienteering activities – including getting a chance to see the prisoner cells in the Punishment Block! Following another ferry trip back to the mainland, the boys visited Supermacs and enjoyed lots of chips, burgers, pizza and ice cream! All the photos from a super day out are in the gallery below!
