Mr. Russell’s 5th Class 2024/2025 added another famous artist to their list of artists they have looked at. This time, the boys looked at work by Wassily Kandinsky. They learned a little about his life in Russia, where he was born in the 1800s, and his belief that colours had a soul. The boys also read about how Kandinsky painted things instead of people, leading to his famous painting “Circles”.
