St. Stephen's De La Salle

Our Active Week happened in Term 1 of 2024/2025. During the week, all classes were active and getting involved. It was great to see the older and younger students pair up for our Park Walk and we completed 2 laps of the park which was a big jump in distance from last year!

Our Active Schools Committee members led our students in two school-based activities – ‘Wake Up, Shake Up’ and ‘Spooky Stations’. At times the weather wasn’t helping so some of our younger classes took part in Halloween themed races linked to PE with Mr. G on YouTube. The boys loved the interactive part of the videos and getting to be active in class is vital for all! Check out the pictures below to see how the boys got on!

The most exciting part of Active Week continues to be the St. Stephen’s World Cup football competition. Our Active Schools and Diversity groups join forces to provide a whole school competition with students from different classes forming teams to compete against each other in the yard. Having all students involved and supporting when not playing is a big part of the week also. It’s great to see the happiness and camaraderie that sport and being active can bring! There are lots of pictures and some video content below!!
