A really fun theme for Aistear in Mrs. Breen’s Senior Infants as the boys worked with the theme of “Clothes”! The class worked with different activities at different stations and got to try out different things:

Station 1: The boys dressed up in Summer and Winter clothes. They also choose suitable seasonal items to dress the two boys.
Station 2: The class experimented with various items to see what was waterproof and what wasn’t. The boys were using their prediction strategy that they have been using in their stories and comprehensions.
Station 3: The class read the story of “The Smartest Giant In Town”. The boys then sequenced the story according to events.
Station 4: Whole class activity dealing with construction, as the boys built a clothes shop for the giant!
