St. Stephen's De La Salle

Mr. R. Hayden’s 6th Class were learning about  famous Russian artist Wasilly Kandinsky. He was born in Moscow, Russia on December 16th 1866. He died on 13th December 1944, when he was 77 years old. Kandinsky was a painter and loved to paint abstract art. Abstract art is a kind of modern art which does not represent images of the normal world. Instead, it uses colour, lines and shapes but these are not meant to be living things.  Mr. R. Hayden’s Class did a super job capturing the idea of Kandinsky’s circles – check out their work in the gallery below:
