Awesome artwork from Mr. Russell’s 3rd Class, made during Space Week 2021! After enjoying a brilliant “Observatory In Your Classroom” zoom talk from the Blackrock Castle Observatory in Co. Cork, where the boys learned about the planets, stars and what to look for in the night sky, the boys drew telescopes! To do this, the class followed a tutorial on YouTube which explained how to draw a telescope. Each boy then added the colours, stars and anything else that they were inspired by from the zoom talk.
