Mr. Russell’s 3rd Class visited Spike Island in Cork Harbour for their 2023 school tour! The boys went to visit the island in Cobh, and had an early start – leaving at 8:30am on Tuesday, June 20th! It was a rainy day in Waterford – but a lovely sunny day in Cobh and the boys had a super time – enjoying a lovely ferry trip out to the island and a quiz trail and orienteering activities! Following another ferry trip back to the mainland, the boys visited Supermacs and enjoyed lots of chips, burgers, pizza and ice cream! All the photos from a super day out are in the gallery below!
