A wonderful day (in spite of the wet weather!) took place on Friday, June 16th, 2023 as we held our annual Sports Day in a brand new format, with lots of different activities.
The boys got to try out games such as Cups and Saucers, the Crossbar Challenge, Pair The Odd Socks, the Pipe Game, an Obstacle Course, 7-a-side Football, Bean Bag Toss, Tennis Ball Buckets, Tug Of War, Ring Toss and a Penalty Shoot Out. There was something for everyone and it was great fun for all, young and not-so-young!!
The day ended with the staff Tug of War and the boys all got an ice cream treat. Thanks to everyone who made the St. Stephen’s Sports Day so enjoyable – to the boys for taking part with such enthusiasm, to the staff for making sure the day was accessible for all, and to the parents and families who came along to support the boys. We also extend our sincerest thanks to the De La Salle GAA and Camogie Club, for the use of the Cleaboy grounds for our Sports Day. We’re always very appreciative of the support that the club gives to the school.
