After over a 2 year break because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Chess Club returned to St. Stephen’s on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 with over 30 members joining! Chess Club will be running for eight weeks and there were some great matches played on the first day. League tables then started after a few weeks. Thanks to Mr. Morris, Miss Kenny and Mr. Coghlan for helping out – and well done to all the boys!
Chess Club ended on the 30th of November after eight weeks. All the boys played so well. Well done to Cailan and Tatenda who finished 2nd in their leagues and congratulations to Alex and Oliver who finished 1st in their leagues and a huge well done to our overall winner of Chess Club 2022!
