A really brilliant time for World Book Day 2023 in Mr. Russell’s 3rd Class! The class entered Mrs. Hatton’s competition, where everyone was challenged to design a NEW cover for their favourite books – which proved VERY popular with the boys!
Along with this, the boys visited The Book Centre in John Roberts Square, where they used their World Book Day token to get a free book to take home!
The boys brought their favourite books to school and lots of boys dressed up as their favourite book characters on the day too! There were characters from the world of football, Star Wars, DC Comics, Harry Potter and Eleven – a book that the boys had read at the start of the year and then talked about with the book’s author, Tom Rogers in an online chat during November 2022. Everyone really enjoyed all the activities on World Book Day – well done to all!
